Concept:
The new outdoor bollard lamps from Flos, Casting T and Casting C, are truly examples of when ‘form follows function’, and the true intentions of light are revealed. The shape of the Casting bollards works with every backdrop, because they seamlessly blend into the surroundings.The unique shape of the lamp is extremely minimalistic. The designer, Vincent Van Duysen, says that he wanted to combine Flos’ aesthetics with ‘brutalist’ architecture, and the result became this stylish mix of simplicity and brutality. The architectural features are especially prominent in the Casting C lights, which are rather stark in their visual appearance. The double-coated powder layer assures great weather resistance. Due to its glass shade, the Casting T light gives of a pleasant and uniform light. The Casting outdoor bollard lamps from Flos are available in three different sizes and five colours: Deep Brown, Black, White, Grey, and Anthracite Grey. Flos’ new outdoor collection has been designed by architect and designer, Piero Lissoni, whose architectural designs blend seamlessly into their surroundings. The outdoor lights from Flos are therefore a truly unique collection. Lissoni is well known for his creativity and innovative ideas, so by adding one of his designs to your home you are ensured timeless style, rather than just a momentary trend
