Concept: The simple and sculptural Oblique bench from Ferm Living is made with 'low-living' in mind. It has fused Japanese carpentry techniques with the Scandinavian feel for design and has ended up as a piece of furniture that can be used in many ways in the home. The name Oblique comes from the oblique angles that make up the bench's construction and helps to make it stand out from the surroundings. The solid oak seat with the oiled surface highlights beautiful vases, books or whatever else you could place on the bench. It can thus be used both as an object for decorative items in the home or more functionally for sitting on. Place it in the bedroom, living room or even in the hallway to easily take off your shoes after a long day.
