Danish &Tradition Herman-pöytävalaisin on nimetty tunnetun tanskalaisen kirjailijan Herman Bangin mukaan. Valaisin on suunniteltu kunnianosoitukseksi kirjailijalle ja hänen taiteelliselle elämäntavalleen. Tästä syystä lamppuun valittiin opaalilasivarjostin, pähkinäpuinen runko ja marmorinen jalusta, sillä tämä sommittelu tuo mieleen Bangin työpöydällä olleet lamput hänen klassikoitaan kirjoittaessaan. Orgaaniset ja pehmeät muodot antavat ympäristölle miellyttävän rauhan ja luonnonmateriaalit huokuvat lämpöä ja mukavuutta. Taiteellinen lamppu näyttää kauniilta ja viehättävältä hyllyllä tai kirjahyllyssä, mutta sen voi sijoittaa myös työpöydälle tai sivupöydälle, missä se kohoaa majesteettisesti ympäristön yläpuolelle.
