When selecting products for my home I like mixing design icons with contemporary pieces and other unique objects. I like to collect beautiful lamps because I like how they can almost become statues during the day and create a cozy atmosphere at night which is why I selected one of the Akari light by Vitra. In fact, that one is still missing from my collection! My golden rule when selecting items for my home is they have to be beautiful but also serve a purpose.

For example mirrors. I have a large selection of them in all the different sizes and shapes. For me they are great light reflectors as well as design objects. Plus I feel they add size and depth to any room. The &tradition Amore mirror I like so much that I have both the round and the rectangular version in my home.

Also when it comes to vases I like to choose pieces that can also look great without flowers in them. The Muuto Kink vase is a perfect example for what I mean. Plus it’s super fun arranging whimsical flower bunches in it.

Tension is a concept that I think about a lot when it comes to interiors. I like mixing styles and materials which is why I selected both the Gubi Pacha chair as well as the Frederics Furniture Spanish Chair. For me it’s precisely those contrasts that create visual interest and ultimately make a home unique.
