Concept: Sika-Design presents the elegant and multifunctional Ottoman created by Franco Albini & Franca Helg in 1951. This piece of furniture is both a sculptural and an elegant addition to any room it is placed in. It is particularly unique due to its double function as both a stool and a side table, which gives more possibilities of use and more opportunities to get the most out of this piece of furniture. Created by skilled basket makers in sustainable rattan material, it is a piece of craftsmanship that can be seen and felt in every detail. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. This makes rattan furniture remarkably strong and able to last for generations.
