Design: Sika Design
Concept: Sika-Design presents the Nanny rocking chair, which was originally designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1969. Ditzel had an experimental approach to design, which resulted in the Nanny rocking chair. The chair is handmade in sustainable rattan material, which is a piece of craftsmanship that can be seen and felt in every detail. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. This makes rattan furniture remarkably strong and able to last for generations.
