Hue Tuar Outdoor Wall Light from
Philips is part of the Tuar series that is a series of outdoor lamps from Hue. The series consists of a wall light, a short flower bed lamp and a tall flower bed lamp. One Hue White Ambiance 9.5W E27 bulb is included. It gives off a nice light that you can adjust yourself. You can choose whether you want the bulb to give off a warm, cozy light or a bright, cold light. The many light functions and the stylish and elegang design mean that the lamp is well-suited in the garden, along the driveway or on a wall of the building. It is possible to control the light of your
Hue Tuar Outdoor Wall Light by using a dimmer switch or via an app on your smartphone or tablet.
OBS! If you wish to control the light from your smartphone or tablet, it is necessary to have a Hue Bridge which is not included and must therefore be purchased seperately.
Important - When you use Hue light bulbs outdoor, it is important that the bulbs are within a certain distance of the house. The system works in such a way that the dimmer switch or app sends the signal to the Bridge which then forwards the signal to the lamp. Therefore one of the bulbs has to be close enough to the Bridge to pick up the signal. Hue used the ZigBee technology to link the bulbs together which means that when one of your bulbs receives the signal from your Bridhe or dimmer switch it passes the information on to the other bulbs. By using ZigBee you achieve a much greater range than through Wi-Fi. A Hue light bulb has a range of about 10 metres but we recommend you test the distances before casting the lamps in the ground.
