Concept:
The KNIT-WIT floor lamp is a fantastic combination of inspiration from the light ball of the sun and the original rice paper lamp respectively. With the KNIT-WIT lamp you get a 360 degree lamp that provides a fantastically warm and atmospheric light due to its knitted material. Even though knitting is an old craft, it was still to be used for modern desginer lamps and that is exactly what was the basic inspiration for Made By Hand. The Knit-Wit lamp is the first knitted and modern lamp that also distributes the light through the pattern of the yarn which makes each lamp decorative and distinctive. The Knit-Wit family contains different sizes and broad variety of colours that are united in the basic shape, warmth and light and the lamps will easily and naturally find their place in any interior environment from private homes to public spaces. The new floor lamps in the Knit-Wit family consist of three thin metal legs that provide an elegant and airy base to carry the glowing light ball. With three different leg lengths and three different sizes of shade - Ø45, Ø60 and Ø65 respectively - and five different colours: silver, burgundy red, light red, light green and yellow, you get a large flexibility to make the perfect choice of interior design.
