Design: Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Hay
Concept: Palissade is an elegant series of outdoor furniture designed by the two French brothers, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. Palissade is a collection of beautiful and robust outdoor furniture which has a simple design language that makes them easy to use and decorate, from the backyard to larger public park areas or the small outdoor Café. The design behind the beautiful series is based on a monotonous design language, as the entire collection is created from round metal pipes and metal slats. Based on this simple design, the two brothers have managed to produce a large number of different versions of Palissade which include benches, stools and chairs. The small stool from the Palissade collection is ideal as an extra seat at the table, which can easily be taken out but also stored away when not in use. The stool can also easily be used as a small side table for the Palissade armchair, and like the rest of the Palissade series, it comes in three powder-coated colors, as well as the more rustic hot-dip galvanized version.
