Concept: The clear symmetry and solid shapes of the Doric coffee table from GUBI put the sublime materials first. The coffee table, designed by the design duo GamFratesi, is inspired by the Doric columns from ancient Greece and Rome, which is clearly seen in both the design of the table legs and the name of the table. The inward curved profile of each leg gives a lightness and modernity to the design and emphasizes the level of craftsmanship that goes into each coffee table. The beautiful texture and depth of the stone material brings the table to life with a sea of small natural details in the surface, which is why each table will be unique and no two tables are alike.
