Kasper Friis Egelund for Gejst Concept: Arkis A mixture of functional and sculptural. This is exactly what the three small bookends manage to gather in one. By being able to use them as either a book support or decorative element in the home, there is ample opportunity to decorate Arkis, and whether it is on the shelf or in the window sill, Arkis is a stylish addition to the home. The shape of the three objects is inspired by the classic curved shapes that are often represented in architecture, including especially the Italian building Palazzo Della Civiltá Italiana. Furthermore, the objects are designed so that they gradually become smaller, which in extension of each other gives a nice visual angle.
