Design: Cecilie Manz For Fritz Hansen
Concept: Fritz Hansen's Ochre carpet is a masterpiece of modern design. Designed by Cecilie Manz, it features a maze of color blocks in various shapes, creating a three-dimensional, tactile design in a large geometric patchwork of color and texture. The Ocher rug plays with decorative blocks of color in different shapes, creating a three-dimensional, tactile design. Cecilie Manz drew inspiration for the rug from her own studio: the rug's pattern shows shadows cast on the floor, her own drawings as well as geometric paper clips arranged in piles on her desk. The carpet was particularly well suited in the subdued home office. Profits from the production of the carpet go to help children in Nepal go to school.
